When Robert Heinecken, artist, professor and minister’s son, visited my studio in 1974, I put out the Jesus ashtray for him to use which I then photographed. When I gave him a print, he then requested a print of the nude. After Heinecken's death in 2008, I received a package from his wife, Joyce, who had sent me a portion of his ashes contained in a salt shaker. |
